TamoSoft Throughput Test, our popular utility for testing network throughput, was acquired by Netmantics LLC in late 2024. The product is now available as Tessabyte Throughput Test, and you are welcome to explore the new version, which includes numerous new features and improvements!
Important Information for TamoGraph Users: TamoGraph relies on TamoSoft Throughput Test when conducting active Wi-Fi surveys with throughput measurements. You can continue using TamoSoft Throughput Test as part of TamoGraph for that purpose. Conducting such surveys requires the installation of the server component, as explained in TamoGraph documentation. If you run TamoGraph on Windows, you can find the server component at "C:\Program Files (x86)\TamoGraph\ThroughputTest\TTServer.exe". You can copy it to another machine, where it can run as a stand-alone file. If you run TamoGraph on macOS and need the server component, you can download it here.
Overview
TamoSoft Throughput Test is a utility for testing the performance of a wireless or wired network. This utility continuously sends TCP and UDP data streams across your network and computes important metrics, such as upstream and downstream throughput values, packet loss, and round-trip time, and displays the results in both numeric and chart formats. TamoSoft Throughput Test supports both IPv4 and IPv6 connections and allows the user to evaluate network performance depending on the Quality of Service (QoS) settings.
